The petitioner who is the defacto complainant in CSR.No.554 of 2020 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Taluk Police Station, Dindigul has come out with the present petition seeking for a direction to the second respondent to consider his representation dated 10.12.2020 and also to give him adequate police protection.

2. Mr.Mr.Erottuchamy, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 and would submit that CSR.No.554 of 2020 was closed on 01.01.2021, since the petitioner himself requested the police not to proceed with the case. He therefore would contend that the present petition is liable to be dismissed.
