O R D E R

The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to accord permission and provide police protection to celebrate the festival of Kannimar Kaliamman Bagavathi Amman Temple, Kariyampatti, Nilakottai Taluk, Dindigul District, from 27.05.2016 to 31.05.2016, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 04.04.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.Muruganantham, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, who has submitted that the respondent Police have not received any such representation from the petitioner.

3. This Court has taken a judicial notice that Election for Tamil Nadu State Assembly has been notified by the Election Commission of India and it is scheduled to be held on 16.05.2016 and results will be declared on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

19.05.2016. Under such circumstances, the petitioner directed to appear in person before the third respondent, after 19.05.2016, along with a copy of this Order and submit a fresh representation, containing the very same contents as stated in the previous representation dated 04.04.2016. On receipt of such representation, the third respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry with all the contesting parties and pass orders in accordance with law on or before 27.05.2016.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
