This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No.10 of 2019 on the file of the third respondent to the fourth respondent and to conduct fair investigation within the stipulated period.

2.Though the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner raised several grounds to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No.10 of 2019 on the file of third respondent to the fourth respondent, he submitted that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the second respondent to monitor the investigation and to file final report within a time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the final report will be filed within a period of three months. 4.Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, without going into the merits of the case, a direction is issued to the second respondent to monitor the investigation in Crime No.10 of 2019 and to file the final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
