The Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to return the writ petitioners' lorry bearing Registration Nos.TN-75-AT-9253, TN-75-AX-1947, TN-75AT-9014 and TN-75-AZ-4999 respectively that were taken by the second respondent on 18.07.2024, to the writ petitioners.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioners seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3. In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioners, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
