ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to award the compensation due to the petitioner and her sons Ramanathan and Rajanathan by considering the petitioner's representation dated 06.06.2025.

2. The petitioner's husband died due to a chain-snatching incident. The official respondents considered the petitioner's representation and granted compensation vide letter dated 04.07.2025. However, the petitioner has not received any amount. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the said order, an appeal remedy is available before the State authority.

3. Considering the facts of the case, this Court is of the considered opinion that the petitioner is entitled to a sum of Rs. 3,13,000/-, the same shall be disbursed to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of 2/4

a copy of this order. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the said amount, she is at liberty to file an appeal before the State authority.

4. With these observations, this writ petition is disposed of. There is shall no order as to cost.
