PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS Act, to issue a direction, directing the Special Court Judge/PCR, Thoothukudi District to accept the surrender of the petitioners along with bail application in Cr.No.559 of 2026 on the file of the 2nd respondent police herein and to consider the dispose the bail application on the same day on merits. 1/4

ORDER
The present petition has been filed by the accused persons in Crime No. 559 of 2026, on the file of the second respondent police seeking a direction as against the trial Court to consider the bail application of the petitioner on the same day of surrender.
2. Considering the averments in the petition, there shall be a direction to the Special Court Judge/PCR, Thoothukudi District, to consider the bail application of the petitioners on the same day of surrender in Crime No.559 of 2026, after giving due opportunity to the defacto complainant.
3. The petitioner shall surrender before the concerned Court on or before 06.07.2026.
4. With the above said observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands allowed.
