O RDER This petition is filed seeking for a direction to transfer the investigation of the petitioner's complaint dated 05.06.2023 from the file of the respondent No.2 police to any other competent authority.

2.It is submitted by the learned counsel that the petitioner is the owner of the property in S.No.124/13, to an extent of 11.5 cents at Maruthangudi Village, Kallikudi Taluk. However, one Selvakumar, who is working as Deputy Superintendent of Police, Chennai Traffic Police, tried to grab the said property, on which the complaint has been given to the police, but the police are not proceeding to investigate the same.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) on the other hand submits that the police have registered the complaint of the petitioner as UTM Online/5813921/E2PS/2023 and during the enquiry, the petitioner appeared before the police and gave an undertaking that he will approach the Revenue Court and resolve the dispute between him and others. It is submitted further that 2/5

the dispute between the petitioner and others is in respect of S.No.124/13 and the same is pending before the Revenue Authorities. 4.Considering the circumstances and on hearing the submissions of both the parties, it is clear that the dispute between the petitioner with others is purely civil in nature and that the petitioner has rightly approached the Revenue Authorities in order to get the land surveyed. In case, if any offence is either committed or about to be committed, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh complaint to the police, on which the police are directed to consider and dispose of the same as quickly as possible.
