This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to take appropriate action on the petitioner's complaint dated 17.08.2022 and complete the enquiry within the time frame as fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Sakthi Kumar, learned Government Advocate (Crl. side), appearing for the respondents.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (crl. side) appearing for the respondents submitted the petitioner's complaint, dated 17.08.2022 is pending on the file of the 2nd respondent/Inspector of Police, for enquiry. The statement is recorded.

4. Recording the same, the 2nd respondent/Inspector of Police, is directed to consider the petitioner's complaint, dated 17.08.2022 and take appropriate action on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks, from the date of receipt of copy of the order. 2/4
