ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 341, 324, 506(ii) IPC, in Crime No.136 of 2023, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner is the brother in law of the defacto complainant. Due to family dispute between his sister and the petitioner, on 25.06.2023 at about 06.00p.m., the accused came to the house of the defacto 1/3

complainant and assaulted him with aruval and also threatened them with dire consequences. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he is innocent and not committed any offence, as alleged by the prosecution. In this case, the injured has been discharged from the hospital. Hence, prays to release him on anticipatory bail. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that though the injured has been discharged from the hospital, the petitioner is having six previous cases to his credit. In which, some of the cases were registered for the offence of assault and one case was registered under Section 392 of IPC. Hence, prayed to dismiss the petition.

5.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

6.Considering the nature of the case and considering the bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 7.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. sd/- 20/07/2023 / TRUE COPY / /07/2023 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.)
