This Writ Petition has been filed seeking direction to the 1st respondent to sanction the Personal Accident Insurance claim in GPA Claim No. 111700/48/2023/00072209 A/c.No.20425491713 and apportion between the petitioner and the 3rd and 4th respondents herein equally based on the petitioner's representation, dated 16.07.2024.
2.Heard Mr.S. Bala Karthick, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 3.It is the case of the petitioner that her husband died in a road accident on 04.02.2023. In this regard, a criminal case in Cr.No.56 of 2023 on the file of Chekkanurani Police Station has been registered. The petitioner has requested the first respondent/Bank to disburse the LIC Policy amount to the petitioner. In this regard, the Bank has directed the petitioner to get No Objection Certificate from the second and third respondents. Hence, this petition has been filed.

4.Since the LIC Policy is not in dispute, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 16.07.2024 by considering the fact that mother of the deceased is also Class-I legal heir and pass orders to disburse the compensation as per their legal entitlement. Such exercise should be completed by the first respondent within a period of two weeks, from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
5.With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
