petitioner in the revenue department computer without any further delay in connection with petitioner's property situated in Survey No.266/4 Muthuvaduganathanapattinam Village, Kanatankudi Group, Thondi Registration Taluk, Thiruvadanai Taluk, Ramanathapuram District in the light of petitioner's last representation dated 29.07.2024 within a stipulated time to be fixed by this Court.

ORDER
The petitioner seeks the issue of a mandamus to the third respondent to issue a patta in the name of the petitioner on the basis of the registered sale deed dated 06.05.2008 executed in her favour by Mohammad Hanifa, her ex-husband.
2. The petitioner would submit that despite several petitions to the third respondent on 05.03.2009, 07.05.2013, 02.12.2013 and the last of which on 29.07.2024, no steps have been taken by the third respondent to consider and pass orders on the request of the petitioner for issue of patta. Therefore, the present writ petition.
3. Heard the learned counsel on either side.
4. Considering the fact that the public authority, who is entrusted with the duty of issuing the patta, has failed to discharge his duty, a mandamus is issued to the Tahsildar, Thiruvadanai - the third respondent to forthwith consider the request of the petitioner for grant of patta. The said process shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
