[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.] Mr.P.Thilak Kumar, learned Government Pleader takes notice for respondents 1 to 3.

2. This writ petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to take appropriate action on the respondents 4 and 5 by considering the petitioner's written representation, dated 22.06.2024.

3. Mr.P.Thilak Kumar, learned Government Pleader upon instructions would submit that the District Collector, Pudukottai District, by proceedings dated 16.07.2024, has permitted the fifth respondent to mine 20000 cubic metres of ordinary soil from the lake in Enathi village for the purposes of construction of Chozhapuram - Thanjavur National Highways(NH-45C).

4. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the same, it is open to the petitioner to challenge the said order.

5. With the said observation, this writ petition is dismissed. No Costs.
