ORDER

The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. seeking for a direction to transfer the investigation in Crime No.1387 of 2020 on the file of the fourth respondent to any other competent officer.

2.The main contention of the petitioner is that the investigation has not been done properly by the fourth respondent. 3.Per contra, Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who takes notice for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that RDO enquiry has been conducted and the investigation is almost completed. His specific contention is that the investigation was properly done by the fourth respondent. 4.At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the investigation done by the fourth respondent may be directed to be monitored by the first respondent. 5.Since certain serious allegations made against the fourth respondent, the third respondent / Superintendant of Police, Thanjavur District, is directed to monitor the investigation done by the fourth respondent.

6. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
