Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to release the petitioner's Additional Security Deposit amount deposited in connection with Package No.TN-KKM-SASCI-01, based on the petitioner's representation dated 02.06.2026, within stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioner is before this Court seeking for a direction to the respondents to release the Additional Security Deposit amount deposited in connection with strengthening of five road works in Kanyakumari District, that is Package No.TN-KKM-SASCI-01. 2.The petitioner states that despite of completing the work satisfactory, the amount under the contract having been paid, the respondents have not released the petitioner's Additional Security Deposit.

3. The learned Government Advocate subimts that the Additional Security Deposit deposited by the petitioner will be returned within a period of two weeks from today.

4. The said submission is take on record.

5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the second response to release the Additional Security Deposit deposited by the petitioner in connection with Package No.TN-KKM-SASCI-01, within a period of two weeks from today.

6. There shall be no order as to Costs.
