ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the first and second respondents to direct third respondent to give Police Protection to the petitioner and her husband for their life and limb by considering the petitioners representation dated. 08.08.2022 and 19.08.2022 within the period stipulated by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is aged about 80years and she and her husband are living together with health ailments. They are having four and two female children. The petitioner's son/fourth respondent approached the petitioner and promised to take case of his parents. Based on his assurance, the petitioner and her husband executed settlement deed on 13.04.2018, but he failed to keep up the promise and not provided any facilities to them, but he gave trouble. Therefore the petitioner gave a representation to the respondents to provide sufficient protection and to cancel the settlement deed executed in favour of the fourth respondent and sought for police protection.

3. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) would submit that the representations of the petitioner was received by the third respondent and it is under enquiry.

4. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

5. The petitioner being a Senior Citizen aged about 80 years and she was given trouble by her own son/fourth respondent herein hence she has filed the above petition before the first respondent to give protection to her and to cancel the settlement deed executed in favour of the fourth respondent on 13.04.2018.

6. In view of the above, the third respondent is directed to provide sufficient protection to the petitioner by considering her representations dated 08.08.2022 and 19.08.2022 on merits and in accordance with law immediately.

7. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
