ORDER
The Petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the Petitioner's representation dated 30.05.2024 and dispose of the same within the time fixed by this Court.
2.Mr.A.Kannan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 6. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The case of the Petitioner is that the Petitioner is a resident of Petition mentioned address for three decades and he has been evicted from the said place on the ground of encroachment. The Petitioner has also given a representation to the authorities in this regard on 30.5.2024 to provide alternative land for his accomodation. Since the same has not been considered so far, the Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition for the relief stated supra.
4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 6 would submit that the encroachment has been removed on the basis of the Orders passed by the Division Bench of this Court and that Petitioner's representation will be disposed of in accordance with law by the respondents concerned after identifying the proper place which is feasible for accomodating the Petitioner. 5.In view of the above said submission, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the respondents concerned to consider the representation/application of the Petitioner, dated 30.05.2024 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to all the parties concerned, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, the writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
