This Civil Revision Petition has been preferred by the petitioner for speedy disposal of the suit in O.S.No.240 of 2017 on the file of the Subordinate Court, Sankarankovil.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the first to ninth respondents. Since this Civil Revision Petition filed by the petitioner is only for speedy disposal of the suit, notice for the other respondents is not required and is therefore dispensed with.

3. According to the petitioner, the suit in O.S.No.240 of 2017 was filed in the year 2017 and till date, the suit is dragged on at the instance of the respondents/defendants and hence, the petitioner/plaintiff approached this Court for speedy disposal of the suit.

4. On perusal of the B-Diary extract, it is found that P.W.1 present himself and filed his proof affidavit on 24.08.2022 and however, till 14.06.2023, the case is in the list of P.W.1 cross continuation. It is also found that the suit is adjourned by the Trial Court periodically without any valid reasons.

5. Considering the above, the learned Subordinate Judge, Sankarankovil, is directed to dispose the suit in O.S.No.240 of 2017 on merits, without giving any unnecessary adjournments, expeditiously, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Page No. 3 of 6

6. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No cost.
