ORDER

This petition is filed seeking police protection on the basis of the representation dated 03.10.2021.

2.It appears that it is a dispute between the landlord and tenant, in respect of which, a suit in O.S.No.61 of 2021 has also been filed by this petitioner before the learned District Munsif, Pudukottai. Now, it is stated to be pending. The prayer in the aforesaid petition is that issue necessary direction to the private respondents therein not to evict the petitioner, otherwise then on due process. In respect of the occurrence, which said to have been taken on place on 21.09.2021, a case in Crime No.1242 of 2021 for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 352, 427, 448, 380 and 506 (i) of IPC has been registered on 24.09.2021. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that all the accused persons were absconding. Since the suit in O.S.No.61 of 2021 is pending, granting police protection to the petitioner may not be proper. Depending upon the outcome of the judgment to be passed in O.S.No.61 of 2021, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD) No.15734 of 2021 which is pending before the learned District Munsif, Pudukottai, further steps may be taken by this petitioner. I find no merit in this petition at this stage.

4.With the aforesaid liberty, this petition stands dismissed.
