This Writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records relating to the impugned proceeding issued by the third respondent Dean in Ref No.3351/E1/1/2016, dated 22.04.2016 and quash the Same. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

It is represented that the Writ petition is about the designation of the petitioner and the dispute is with regard to the appointment to the post of Head of the Department in Department of Plastic Surgery, Madurai Medical College, Madurai - 625 020, Madurai District. It is further represented that the petitioner in the above Writ petition is no more. Hence, nothing survives and the Writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petitions are closed.
