O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to take appropriate action on petitioner's representation dated 22.04.2016 within stipulated time.

2. It is seen that the petitioner has made a representation to the respondents ventilating his grievance against the 5th respondent and as prayed for taking action against him or transfer him to any other District. In service matters, such public interest mandamus cannot be issued, since service matters are governed by service rules.

Commissioner, Devakottai Municipality, Sivagangai District reported in 2010(2) LW 785, a Division Bench of this Court has cautioned that this Court should be circumspect before passing an order to the respondents to "consider the representations". Hence, the Writ petition is devoid of merits and accordingly, the same is dismissed. No costs.
