Respondents PRAYER:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to sanction the minimum of the time scale of pay of selection grade with effect from 17.12.2012 by applying the Government Order in G.O. Ms. No.1296 Department of Education Science and Technology dated 19.06.1982 by considering the representation dated 24.11.2022 and 16.08.2024 with all consequential benefits.

ORDER

The petitioner herein, who was initially appointed as the Secondary Grade Teacher in an aided school, was subsequently selected and appointed as the Secondary Grade Teacher in Panchayat Union Middle School and continuing as such as on date. While so, the petitioner made a claim for counting of the service rendered by him in the aided school for the purpose of confirmation of Selection Grade and Special Grade in the Panchayat Union School and accordingly, the petitioner claims to have submitted representations dated 24.11.2022 and 16.08.2024. As the respondents have not taken any action on the said representations, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present writ petition complaining the inaction on the part of the respondents.

2. The learned Standing Counsel, who took notice for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the respondents would consider the representations submitted by the petitioner expeditiously. 2/4

In the light of the above, without going into the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of directing the first respondent to consider the representations dated 24.11.2022 and 16.08.2024 submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
