Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a WRIT OF CERTIORARI, calling for the records pertaining to the award dated 20-08-2009 in I.D.No.40 of 2006 on the file of the 1st Respondent.

ORDER : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.S.ARUNACHALAM, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.K.JAGADEES BALAN, Advocate for the respondent, the court made the following order:- When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the contempt petition (MD) No.142/2021 was closed on 08/03/2021 for the reason that a writ appeal(MD)No.515/2020 was pending. SUB A(MD) No.311 of 2021 Leave petition was also filed. The same was also dismissed. He further submits that the award of the Labour court has not been complied with.

In Light of the submissions and subsequent developments after closure of the contempt petition, this sub-application is allowed and the contempt petition (MD)No.142/2021 is re-opened. For further hearing, Post the contempt petition after eight weeks.
