6. Sakthivel ... Respondents PRAYER :- This Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his wife on the basis of his representation dated 16.06.2023.

ORDER

The petitioner seeks police protection to him and his wife.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that with reference to the land dispute, when the civil suit is pending, the private respondents have trespassed into the property. With reference to the allegations of trespass, already case in Crime Nos.106 of 2023 and 300 of 2023 has since been registered. It is stated that the investigation is proceeding in those matters. Therefore, the investigation will be duly completed in the said cases and final report will be filed as per the investigation.

4. As far as the petitioner's prayer for police protection is concerned, it is stated that the interlocutory application for injunction is pending in the suit. Therefore, and when any interim order of injunction is passed by the civil Court, liberty is preserved for the petitioner, to move for police for protection, and the police shall grant protection, in terms of the civil Court order/ decree.

5. With such liberty preserved to the petitioner, this Petition stands disposed of.
