Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to grant parole to the petitioner's husband Kanagasabapathy (CT 3490), son of Varadharajan, convicted in Spl.Case No.2 of 2002 by the learned Assistant Sessions Judge cum Chief Judicial Magistrate, Thoothukudi on 25.10.2008 and lodged in the 4th respondent prison for a period of 30 days to perform the petitioner's daughter's marriage scheduled on 09.05.2016. This writ petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondents to grant parole to the petitioner's husband Kanagasabapathy (CT 3490), son of Varadharajan, convicted in Spl.Case No.2 of 2002 by the learned Assistant Sessions Judge cum Chief Judicial Magistrate, Thoothukudi on 25.10.2008 and lodged in the 4th respondent prison for a period of 30 days to perform the petitioner's daughter's marriage scheduled on 09.05.2016.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader produced a communication dated 27.04.2016 from the Superintendent of Central Prison, Palayamkottai, wherein, it is stated that the authorities are considering the representation of the petitioner sympathetically.
3. Recording the same, this petition is closed and the Superintendent of Police is directed to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner as expeditiously before 08.05.2016. No costs.
