ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who arrayed as accused, was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 22.07.2024 for the offences punishable under sections 11(i) and 12 of POCSO Act in Crime No.31 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner herein has sexually assaulted 1/3

the victim girl, who is aged about 11 years. Hence, the compliant. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he is in judicial custody from 22.07.2024 and seeks bail. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that the victim is 11 years and the investigation of the case is pending and hence, he strongly opposed to grant bail to the petitioner. 5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering serious nature of allegations made against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
