This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, seeking direction against the third respondent not to take possession of the petitioner's temple lands in Survey No.134/4 to an extent of 0.46.0 Ares of lands in Sudiyur Revenue Village, Ramanathapuram District in a illegal manner.

2. Today, when the matter is called up, it is submitted by the learned Additional Government Pleader on instructions that the third respondent does not intend to take possession of the petitioner's land in Survey No.134/4 and that Mulaipari Karithal would be performed in the existing Vadakkor Oorani, on the basis of the peace committee meeting conducted on 05.08.2024. 3. In view thereof, nothing survives for adjudication in the Writ Petition and this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
