PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry in civil matter except by due process of law.

For Petitioners : Mr.M.Sheik Abdullah For R1 & R2 : Mr.B.Thanga Aravindh Government Advocate (Crl.side) O RDER This petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry and not to intervene in the civil dispute between the petitioners and the respondent No.3. 2.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that there are civil disputes between the petitioner and the respondent No.3 in respect of the property belonging to a Mosque and that on a false complaint given by the respondent No.3, police are harassing.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) has reported that the representation of the respondent No.3 has already been disposed of on 19.07.2023 2/4

and stated that subsequent to the disposal of the representation, the petitioner was never called and the allegation of harassment is incorrect. 4.Considering the submissions of both sides and on perusal of the records, as the representation given by the respondent No.3 has already been disposed of on 19.07.2023, no further directions are required to be passed in this petition, thereby this Petition is closed.
