ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents No.2 and 3 herein not to lay a pathway into the petitioners' land comprised in Survey Nos. 346/3B, 343/8, 348/9, 315/7, 316/8 and 316/10 situated at Veerakkal Village, Authoor Taluk, Dindigul District, by considering the petitioners' representation dated 18.05.2022.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that there is no proposal to lay any road on the land comprised in Survey Nos. 346/3B, 343/8, 348/9, 315/7, 316/8 and 316/10, which belongs to the petitioners. The said submission is recorded.

3. In view of the above, the respondents are restrained from laying any road in the petitioners' agricultural land comprised in Survey Nos.346/3B, 343/8, 348/9, 315/7, 316/8 and 316/10. In future, the respondents have any proposal for 2/4

laying a road, the same shall be laid only after acquiring the land through due process of law.

4. With the above said direction, this Writ Petition is allowed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 26.06.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes jbr To:
