ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed seeking for a Mandamus, to direct the respondents to prepare the inter-se seniority in the cadre of Assistant Commissioners, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Department and thereafter, prepare the panel for promotion to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P(MD)No.19413 of 2019 post of Deputy Commissioners, as per the Rule 2(a)(c), (e) of the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowment Administration Rules and fill up the vacancies in the cadre of Deputy Commissioners.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3.Though the petitioner has sought for a larger relief, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that if a direction is issued to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 05.08.2019, it would suffice.
4.Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioners, dated 05.08.2019 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
