The present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed to call for the entire records connected with the detention order of the second respondent in H.S.(M)Confdl.No.103 of 2024 dated 16.07.2024 in detaining the detenu under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 as a Goonda and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu, namely Ilayaraja, son of Lakshmanan, Male, aged about 45 years, who is detained in Central Prison, Palayamkottai, before this Court and set him at liberty.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of G.O.Rt.No.6121, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XII) Department, dated 02.09.2024, would state that the impugned detention order has been revoked by the Government. 2/4
3. In view of the same, nothing survives for further adjudication. This Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
