O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] The Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the petitioner's daughter namely, R.Priyadarshini, aged about 19 years before this Court and set her at liberty.

2.The case of the petitioner is that he is having two sons and one daughter, the detenue herein. It is further stated that the detenue is pursuing her final year Nursing at Thoothukudi. While so, she was found missing from 12.12.2020. Despite a criminal complaint, no appropriate action was taken to trace the detenue and hence, the present petition.

3.Heard Mr.R.Anand, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.Dinesh Babu, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

H.C.P.(MD) No.1197 of 2020 petitioner, the detenue and her parents appeared before this Court through video conferencing from the Public Prosecutor's Office. On enquiry, the detenue has stated that she is 21 years old and she married one Sahayaveenus and the said marriage was registered with the Office of the Sub-Registrar, Thiruvattar on 14.12.2020. It is further stated that they are now residing at Kanyakumari. 5.The said statement shows that the detenue is not illegally detained by any of the parties. Hence, this habeas corpus petition is dismissed.
