This case came up for settlement before the Lok Adalat. Both the parties present. The counsel for the appellant/s S.MICHEAL HELDON KUMAR and the counsel for the respondents 1 to 4 Mr.V.ANGUSAMY are present. After mutual discussion, negotiation, mediation and conciliation between both parties and with the assistance of the Bench, both sides consented for settlement. AWARD Both the parties along with their respective counsels are present. Both the parties appeared and agreed to settle the issue in the following terms: The claimants, viz., respondents 1 to 4, agreed to receive the amount of Rs.23,50,000/- as full quit, in view of the following apportionment: The minor daughter, viz., second respondent/daughter of deceased, is entitled to Rs.10,00,000/-.
The first respondent, viz., wife of the deceased, is entitled to Rs.10,00,000/- The third respondent, viz, mother of the deceased, is entitled to Rs.1,75,000/-.
The fourth respondent, viz, father of the deceased, is entitled to Rs.1,75,000/-.
The Transport Corporation is directed to deposit the above said award amount within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the award, less the amount,if any deposited.
On such deposit being made, the major claimants / respondents 1, 3 & 4 are permitted to withdraw their share as apportioned by this Court by filing necessary application before the Tribunal.
The share of the minor claimant / second respondent shall be deposited in any one of the Nationalised Bank on fixed deposit, in interest bearing account and the guardian, viz., the mother of the minor is permitted to withdraw the interest once in six months.

The full Court fee paid shall be refunded to the appellant in the manner provided under Section 69-A of the Tamilnadu Court Fees and Suits Valuation Act, 1955 and the Court Fees Act, 1870 as provided for under sub Sec.1 of Section 21 r/w 25 of LSA Act 1987 as amended in 1994.
The Original of the award shall be place in the court record and copy of the award, kept with High Court Legal Services Committee and one copy each is furnished to both parties free of cost.
