Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent and the learned Standing counsel appearing for the second respondent.

2. The petitioner's husband had executed certain contract works for the second respondent municipality. This was concluded in the year 2018 itself. The petition mentioned amount is due to the petitioner's husband. The petitioner's husband is since no more.

3. The learned Standing counsel fairly states that the petitioner is figuring at serial No.11 in the matter of list of works to be paid.

4. Taking note of the facts and circumstances obtaining in this case, I direct the second respondent to settle the amount payable to the petitioner within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. This writ petition stands allowed on these terms. No costs.
