ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 B.N.S.S., seeking orders to direct the third respondent not to harass the petitioner and his family members under the guise of enquiry.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that since the petitioner was in jail along with one Ramesh, after his release the third respondent as well as the police from Ariyalur has come to the house of the petitioner and they have recovered 3 sovereigns of gold jewels, as if, the same was stolen by the accused Ramesh.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that FIR came to be registered in Crime No.138 of 2024 for the offence under Section 380 IPC against the said 2/4

Ramesh and after enquiry, they have come to a decision that the petitioner is not an accused.

5. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
