ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to give promotion to the petitioner to the post of Revenue Assistant, pursuant to his representation, dated 06.07.2015.

2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent and the learned Counsel appearing for the second respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. The case of the petitioner is that on 01.03.1994, he joined as a daily wage worker under the first respondent and consequently, on 17.07.2006, as per the order of the first respondent, he was regularised and appointed as Record Clerk, Kodaikanal. Since the Revenue Assistant post fell vacant, he made https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

representations on 26.11.2008, 12.03.2012 and 06.07.2015 to the respondents seeking promotion to the said post. Since the same have not been considered so far, the present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner.

4. The learned Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the representations of the petitioner have been misplaced and hence, they require a copy of the same for consideration.

5. In view of the above submission, the petitioner is directed to enclose a copy of the latest representation dated 06.07.2015 along with a copy of this order and submit the same to the respondents, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on such submission, the same shall be considered and appropriate orders be passed by the respondents, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of four weeks thereafter.

6. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
