ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition is filed to issue a direction to the learned Principal Subordinate Judge, Pudhukkotai, to dispose the suit in O.S.No. 205 of 2018, pending on its file within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel appearing of the revision petitioner would submit that the petitioner has filed a suit in O.S.No. 205 of 2018 and the same is pending for the past 15 months, before the Principal Subordinate Court, Pudhukkotai. Further, referring to the Judicial Notification No.C-5 CAS/2007, Tamil Nadu (Case Flow Management in Subordinate Courts), Rules, 2007, the learned counsel contended that suit would be disposed of within a period of 9 months. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court with the present Civil Revision Petition for issuance of a direction to the Court below for the disposal of Suit at the earliest point of time.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the Judicial Notification and also the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the suit would be disposed of within a period 9 months from the date of filing, however, the same is pending for more than 15 months. Therefore, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the Court below to dispose of the suit within a time frame.

4. Accordingly, the learned Principal Subordinate Judge, Pudhukkotai, is hereby directed to dispose of the suit in O.S.No. 205 of 2018, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Civil Revision petition is ordered accordingly. No costs.
