ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed to quash the impugned paper publication, dated 02.06.2025 passed by the second respondent and consequently for a direction, forbearing the respondents from disengaging the petitioners within the time period stipulated by this Court.

2. The learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents would submit that the Government had taken a policy to withdraw the notification and also abolished the said post which is the subject matter of challenge in the writ petition. 2/4

3. In view of the same, no further adjudication is required in the writ petition, as the relief sought therein has become infructuous and accordingly, this writ petition stands closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions stand closed. 11.09.2025 NCC :
