This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the impugned order passed by the 2nd respondent, dated 13/11/2017 under reference No.1627/B1/2017 and consequently to direct the respondents to hand over the document bearing No.P5/2017 after due registration to the petitioner forthwith. 2.Heard Mr.S.Madhavan, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Siddharthan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. Perused the materials available on record. 3.It is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has made a challenge against the show-cause notice for demanding stamp duty of Rs.25,000/- for the Supplemental Memorandum of deposit of title deeds presented by the petitioner. The petitioner has also given his explanation to the show-cause notice.

4.In view of the above, the respondents are directed to consider the explanation submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in this regard. If the petitioner is aggrieved over the order passed by the respondents, he is at liberty to challenge the same in the manner known to law. 5.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
