O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The writ petitioner is a 75 years old widow. She alleges that her son fourth respondent herein is interfering with her peaceful living. It is alleged that she was stabbed by her grandson, namely the son of the fourth respondent.

3. I do not want to go into the said allegation. However, it is the duty of the second respondent to initiate appropriate steps and directions to the jurisdictional police to ensure that the petitioner is able to reside in her house without any interference from her grandson and the fourth respondent. If any complaint is received from the petitioner 2/3

3 W.P.(MD)NO.19548 OF 2020 against her son and her grandson, the jurisdictional police are obliged take immediate action under Rule 21 Tamil Nadu Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Senior Citizen Rules. The second respondent shall issue appropriate directions in the light of the said Rule forthwith and without any delay.
