ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus directing the respondent to give patta for the suit property of 5.9 cents out of 59 cents bearing Survey No.42 situate at Meenatchi Nagar, Veerapanjan Village, Madurai.

2. It is informed by the learned Government Advocate that patta had already been granted to the petitioner in respect of the lands measuring to an extent of 59 cents in Survey No.42 and thereafter, sub divisions have also been effected. Therefore, the relief claimed by him has become infructuous.

3. Recording the same, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
