Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Certiorarified mandamus calling for the records relating to impugned order dated 16.03.2020 and consequential order dated 08.05.2020 under Ref. 4105/DS passed by the 3rd respondent and quash the same and further directing the respondents to issue Letter of Intent to the petitioner by declaring her as selected for Retail outlet dealership at Ammankurichi Location, Pudukottai District under Freedom Fighter Quota (Open CC 2).

JUDGMENT

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) We do not find any error in the order passed by the learned Single Judge in W.P.(MD)No.9028 of 2020. The respondents Corporation https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.A.(MD)No.1296 of 2020 have issued a notification calling for applications under the Freedom Fighters category. The appellant herein is only the Granddaughter of a Freedom Fighter and therefore, she is not eligible to apply, as per the brochure of the respondents. Hence, this writ appeal is liable to be dismissed.

2. It is represented that inasmuch as the order passed by the learned Single Judge directing the respondents to return the sum of Rs.40,000/- (Rupees Forty Thousand only), the same was confirmed by this Court in W.A.(MD)No.1136 of 2020, filed by the respondents. In view of the same, the respondents are directed to return the amount to the appellant herein within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

3. With the above direction, this writ appeal stands dismissed. No costs.
