ORDER

The petitioner has come up with the above writ petition seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the 1st respondent herein to return the petitioner's driving licence bearing No.20060002388 forthwith.

2.According to the petitioner, the petitioner was falsely implicated as an accused in Crime No.257 of 2016 for the accident occurred on 05.04.2016. Pursuant to the same, the driving licence of the petitioner has been seized by the second respondent. Therefore, the petitioner has submitted representation dated 15.04.2016 to the first respondent, which is still pending. Hence, the petitioner has come up with the above writ petition. 3.Considering the above stated facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 15.04.2016 and pass orders https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Needless to mention that while considering the representation of the petitioner, dated 15.04.2016 the first respondent shall follow the procedure contemplated in Section 206 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. No costs.
