ORDER
The petitioner has come up with the above writ petition for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 18.5.2015 submitted in regard to consider her case for appointment in any suitable post, based on her qualification under compassionate ground within the time limit. 2.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.
It is the case of the petitioner that her husband, Mr.R.Saranathan, while worked as Development Officer in the New India Assurance Company Limited at Tiruchirapalli District, died https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
due to heart failure on 06.11.2007, leaving behind her and her son namely Hari Vignesh aged about 15 years. The petitioner has studied upto SSLC and also completed Senior Grade Typewriting in English, Diploma in Computer Technology, Diploma in Yoga and a Certificate course in Computer M.S.Office. She made an application on 25.05.2010 for appointment under compassionate ground to the 2nd respondent. Thereafter, on 15.12.2014, she made an another representation. Even after her repeated requests and representations, the second respondent did not consider her request, but he orally instructed the petitioner to approach the first respondent and also forwarded the case of the petitioner to the first respondent. As per the instructions given by the 2nd respondent, she made a representation to the 1st respondent on 17.12.2015. But, till date, no action has been taken by the respondents. Hence, she has come forward with the present writ petition.

Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, this court, without going into the merits of the claim of the petitioner, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 17.12.2015 and pass appropriate orders, on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
