ORDER

The Petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to issue a certificate of linguistic minority to the Petitioner based on the representation dated

30.7.2024.

2.Mr.A.Kannan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The case of the Petitioner is that the Petitioner has completed MMBS Course in a Private Medical College and awaiting to join P.G Course.The Petitioner belonged to Hindu Telugtu Jetty community.The Petitioner wants to apply PG Course under the quota to liguistic minority. Hence the Petitioner has submitted a representation on 18.06.2024 to the third respondent in person and through post on 30.7.2024 for issuance of a certificate of linguistic minority. Since the same has not been considered so far, the Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition for the relief stated supra.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the Petitioner's representation will be disposed of in accordance with law by the third respondent within the time stipulated by this Court.

5.In view of the above said submission, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the third

respondent to consider the representation of the Petitioner, dated 30.07.2024 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the Petitioner, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, the writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
