PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 3rd respondent to treat the petitioner's OMR sheet No.627976 as 'B' type while evaluating the same, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 14.12.2020.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the 3rd respondent to treat the petitioner's OMR sheet No.627976 as 'B' type while evaluating the same.

2.By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.It is the contention of the learned counsel appearing for the 1/3

petitioner that though the petitioner has given a representation, dated 14.12.2020 to the respondents with regard to the relief sought for in this writ petition, so far no action has been taken. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court seeking appropriate orders. 4.In reply, Mr.K.Chellpandian, learned Additional Advocate General assisted by Mr.M.Jeyakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would fairly submit that the petitioner's representation, dated 14.12.2020, would be considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks. 5.In view of the submission made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court is inclined to pass the following direction:- the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 14.12.2020 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order; 6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
