Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first and second respondents i.e. the District Elementary Educational Officer Madurai and the Assistant Elementary Educational Officer T.Kallupatti Madurai District to take immediate action for the disbursement of the DCRG to the petitioner as sanctioned by the Accountant General Chennai in his letter No.AG(A&E)PEN/P19/4/ P110-1021/RTD/ 2004-2005/7975 dated 1.2.2005 within a specified time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER
The petitioner has come up with the above writ petition seeking for the issue of a writ of mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to take immediate action for the disbursement of the DCRG to the petitioner as sanctioned by the Accountant General Chennai in his letter No.AG(A&E)PEN/P19/4/ P110-1021/RTD/ 2004-2005/7975 dated 1.2.2005 within a specified time frame. 2.According to the petitioner, as per the Accountant General Chennai in his letter No.AG(A&E)PEN/P19/4/ P110-1021/RTD/ 2004-2005/7975 dated 01.02.2005, he is receiving retirement benefits. However, the DCRG amounting to Rs.1,39,490/- sanctioned by the Accountant General has not been paid and therefore, he submitted representation dated 18.04.2016 seeking for the disbursement of the above said amount. Since no order has been passed so far, the petitioner has come up with the above writ petition.

3.Considering the above stated facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.04.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
