under the guise of a complaint alleged to have been given by the third respondent, who is the wife of the petitioner.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that on account of dispute between the petitioner and the third respondent, the third respondent has earlier given two complaints to two different Police Stations on similar line. The petitioner has also submitted a representation on 16.07.2023 and basing on the complaint given by the third respondent, the respondent Police are harassing the petitioner.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents, on the other hand, submits that on the complaint given by the third respondent, the respondents Police have registered a case in C.S.R.No.498 of 2023 and the enquiry was conducted. In response to the enquiry, the petitioner appeared before the respondents Police and has given an undertaking that he is about to give some jewels and the household articles to the third respondent. Thereby, C.S.R.No.498 of 2023 is kept pending.

4. Considering the circumstances, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of directing the respondents Police to complete the enquiry in 2/4

C.S.R.No.498 of 2023 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
