Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to provide effective police protection for erection of transmission cell phone tower and to install the telecommunication electrical and electronics equipments, OFC cable and the maintenance work on the said BTS Transmission Tower at SF No.7/116, Melatheru Ganesha Puram, Thottiam, Trichy District.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent to provide effective police protection for erection of transmission cell phone tower at SF No.7/116, Melatheru Ganesha Puram, Thottiam, Trichy District.

2. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, submitted that already, the petitioner erected the cell phone tower.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the present Writ Petition. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
