ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the proceedings on its file in Na.Ka.No.468/2025/A2, dated 20.05.2025 within the time stipulated by this Court, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 10.06.2025.

2. Heard the arguments of Mr.K.Anandraj, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.S.Jeya Priya, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. Since no adverse order is passed against the fourth respondent, notice to the fourth respondent is dispensed with.

3. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4.According to the petitioner, the fourth respondent submitted an application before the first respondent on 14.03.2025, seeking rectification of the land pertains to S.No.61/1B Anandagiri, Kodaikanal Taluk, Dindigul District. The first respondent in turn initiated enquiry in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.468/2025/A2, dated 20.05.2025 by issuing notice to the petitioner. Though the petitioner entered appearance through his advocate, till date there is no progress in the enquiry. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

5. The learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the enquiry will be completed within the time stipulated by this Court.

6. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to complete the enquiry initiated by him in proceedings in Na.Ka.No.468/2025/A2, dated 20.05.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and the fourth respondent.

7.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
