The petitioner, after completing his higher secondary examination, has secured admission to pursue B.E.Civil Engineering at Dhanish Ahmed College of Engineering, Padappai, Chennai. According to the petitioner, he hails from a poor family and unable to pay the fees prescribed by the college. Therefore, he submitted an application to the respondent seeking educational loan for pursuing his Engineering Course. As the respondent did not consider the said application, he has come up with this writ petition praying for issuing a Mandamus to direct the respondent bank to sanction and disburse educational loan. 2.Mr.N.Dilip Kumar, learned counsel takes notice to the respondent Bank.

3.Having regard the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on merits, the respondent bank is directed to consider the application of the petitioner, dated 21.08.2015, on merits and pass appropriate orders thereon within a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
